Stitch Fix review June 2018

Disclaimer: This post contains affiliate links. If you use my affiliate link, I may receive a small commission.

Hi there,

I can’t believe summer is almost here and the kids are almost done with school! Where did half of this year go already?! Father’s Day is also upon us, think about giving the Dads in you life the gift of Stitch Fix.  Most men hate to go shopping, this would be a great idea for them! I added the links for the gift cards at the end of this review.

Also, there is an amazing summer give away Stitch Fix is offering this month. It’s a dream vacation and a free 10 item fix!! All you have to do is sign up for a fix the month of June. There are giving it to 10 winners!! Here is the link to the contest: Summer giveaway . Good luck!

I’m on my #53 fix. Wow, I have been using Stitch Fix over 4 years! My friend actually told me about them years ago and I have been hooked ever since. When my kids were small, it was hard for me to get out to go shopping. Stitch Fix was exactly what I needed to freshen up my wardrobe. I have accumulated some great pieces over the years. I incorporate them so many different ways into my outfits.

I want to let you know what  Stitch Fix is, if you didn’t know already. Stitch Fix is a monthly subscription mail order for clothes, shoes, jewelry and accessories. You get 5 items in each box. You set up your personal profile and customize it to your liking. It’s like Christmas in a box every month!! I can’t wait for that brown box to arrive with the Stitch Fix tape on it. I get an email that it shipped out and I track it when it should arrive. Usually in 3 days or less.

Once it arrives, I open the box and get a price sheet with the description of each item. I also get a card which shows each item I received, how to wear it and a personal note from my stylist. She even saw me in my previous posts in a dress I kept and made comments about it. Talk about customizing to each individual.

Listed below is the style card I received for this fix. Now let’s get into what I received.

Skies are blue – Feliciano mixed material keyhole knit top $54

I must say this top is comfy and stylish. I really like how they mixed the two styles of print together. This top could be worn all year with a cardigan or without, it is versatile. You could pair this top with shorts, jeans or even a skirt. Even though it is adorable, sadly I had to send it back. It was a little snug around the top. Good news is that if I want a larger size, I can request it when I check out my order after the three days.

Below you can see the top in better detail. Oops and some wrinkles!

Loveappella – Gwen faux wrap knit maxi skirt $48

This wrap maxi skirt has a pretty print. My stylist Anna sent me something different this time. I don’t usually wear maxi skirts but I thought this was adorable. It has a little boho look to it. I love the fact that Stitch Fix gets me to try things outside of my norm. I paired this skirt with my orange top to pull out the color in the skirt. I did send it back only because I’m not sure how often I would wear it.

Cloth & Stone – Alanis button front top $88

Market & Spruce – Lanie short $54

This next outfit I really liked. I paired these two items together. I needed new shorts so these were perfect. They are made with Lycra and are so comfortable. I just loved the color too! I really could wear a lot of different tops with these shorts. This top is cute but I’m not one for pockets on shirts. I kept the shorts and returned the top.

Loveappella – Earnest knit swing tank $44

The last piece I received is this floral swing tank. The material is very soft and does not cling at all. You could pair this with jeans, skirt but I decided to go with white shorts. I was undecided about this one. Well, I have 3 days to think about it!

My stylist Anna did a great job matching items to my style. If you decide not to keep all the items, you can return them for free with the enclosed envelope that is prepaid. It’s so easy to do or if you decide to keep all the items, you will receive 25% off your total.

Disclaimer: This post contains affiliate links. If you use my affiliate link, I may receive a small commission.

Hi there,

Since my first Sip & Style was a success, I decided to host another one at the Loft at Paramus Park mall in Paramus, NJ. What could be better than food, drinks and shopping with friends and family?!

img_5496

When I first got to the Loft, the food and drinks were out already to get the party started.

I got right into greeting my guests and started to help style them. The spring and summer collection is out. There are so many cute pieces, I wish I could buy them all! I will link some items if your interested in buying them.

This yellow floral top below would look great with white shorts or jeans.

White jeans link: Jeans

White shorts link: Shorts

I just love these embroidered scalloped shorts. Blue is my favorite color. They are so cute and comfy! These shorts would look great with a white tee.

Blue shorts: Embroidered shorts

White tee: Tee

I’m showing my friend how adorable this tee is that I am wearing under my denim jacket. She ended up buying it too. I told her we can’t wear it on the same day! It’s a lightweight shirt that you can wear dressed up or down. I wore this tee with these striped wide legged pants which I linked below.

Here we’re looking at some other printed tee-shirt options. We found so many pretty prints.

Thank you to my friends and family who came out to support me. It really was a fun time. Thank you to the people who didn’t want to be photographed as well. I totally understand! Until I started blogging, I hardly ever had pictures of myself! It was always was just pictures of my husband and the kids.

Stylish rompers

Disclaimer: This post contains affiliate links. If you use my affiliate link, I may receive a small commission.

Hi there,

I have something to share with you. I never use to wear rompers till recently. I don’t know why.  I do know the only problem with them is getting them off when you have to use the ladies room! You know what I’m talking about. 😉 Otherwise they are stylish and comfy! They are one of my go to outfits lately.

There are so many kinds of rompers and styles. You could dress them up or down. You could add a cute pair of heels or sneakers depending on where your going. I’m going to share with you romper options. Hope you like them and let me know what you think!

This first romper looks like a dress in disguise! I actually wore this to work. It’s also great for a night out. Give me polka dots any day. I added a pair of wedges to dress it up. It a wrap romper. It was a little tricky the first time getting it on but after that it was easy. I listed the links below, if you interested in any of these items. All of these rompers are affordable.

Link for romper: Wrap polka-dotted romper

Link for shoes (different pair) : Wrap wedges

This next romper is a chambray romper. It’s so cute, versatile and it really is so comfy. I added a pair of slip on sneakers for a more casual look. It’s true to size. This is under $20!! It’s really affordable.

Link for chambray romper: Chambray romper

Link for sneakers: Sneakers

This is another one of my new favorite rompers. The ruffle detail is adorable. It looks like a dress as well. Great for date night, work or a special occasion. It fits true to size. I added sandals to dress it up. It also has a tie at the waist. I added a clutch to go out.

Link for romper: Black romper

Link for shoes: shoes

It’s funny because someone commented to me once that rompers are for kids! Totally not true!! You’re never to old for them. It’s all how they are styled. You can look amazing in them.

This next one is really cute. I feel like a candy striper! It has cute ruffle detail and a tie waist too. I sized up on this one.

Link for romper: Striped romper

I’m going to include some other romper options that I did not try on but I thought you may like.

Link for gingham romper: gingham romper.

You could dress this up with heels or down with sneakers. I love this off the shoulder look.

Link for long-sleeved chambray romper: Long sleeved romper.

This is great for chilly spring or summer nights.

This button down romper is adorable. It looks so cozy and comfy.  This is another romper to dress up or down.

This last romper has the cutest sleeves and a tie waist. I just love the color too.

I hope enjoyed these rompers. Some of these are my favorites. Hope you get to wear some rompers in your future or have already.

Stitch Fix review May 2018

Disclaimer: This post contains affiliate links. If you use my affiliate link, I may receive a small commission.

Hi there,

It’s May and Mother’s Day is upon us. Happy Mother’s Day to you! We also have Memorial Day at the end of the month too. That means summer is coming soon!

This month I did put in a request from my stylist Anna for a romper and spring clothing items, well she did deliver. You shall request and you shall receive!

I received my #52 Stitch Fix box this month. I’ll show you each item and let you know what I thought of them. I’ll also let you know what I decided to keep.

She even saw me in my previous posts in a top I kept and made comments about it. Talk about customizing to each individual.

Listed below is the style card I received for this fix. Now let’s get into what I received.

41 Hawthorn – Cristen shirt dress $78

When I first saw this dress I wasn’t sure what to think. I put it on and loved it! It’s something I probably wouldn’t of brought in the store. That’s the beauty of Stitch Fix. You get to try clothing you possibly wouldn’t try at the store. I paired this pretty floral dress with wedges. I decided to keep it and I’m wearing it to a Communion this weekend. It’s a perfect spring dress.

Soaked in luxury- Magalie v-neck pocket knit tee $48

This next item is this v-neck tee. I know why it’s called soaked in luxury, the material is so soft! I wore this top in a casual way with my shorts and sandals. You could also wear it with jeans. I do love the color but honestly I’m not crazy about the pocket. It is a cute top. I decided to send it back. If it came without a pocket, I would of kept it!

Chaser- Darce Raglan knit pullover $58

My third item is this cute graphic sweatshirt. It says Sunday fun day, isn’t that the truth! It’s nice to be off work and home with the family. It’s really soft and comfy. I paired it with a pair of my distressed jeans and kicks. I decided not to keep it because I want more lightweight clothes for spring. It was a tough decision though.

RD Style- Bryanna knit romper $68

I asked my stylist for a romper in this fix. I paired it with a jean jacket and wedges. It has a drawstring waist. I decided not to keep it because I would of preferred a romper with sleeves. I didn’t specify that in my request, it’s my bad! Maybe my next fix, I’ll have one with sleeves.

Collective Concepts- Maire wrap front blouse $54

My last item is this floral wrap blouse. It’s really adorable for spring or summer. I paired this top with my white jeans and my new favorite blush flats. I loved the print but the material wasn’t that soft. I sadly decided to send it back.

My stylist Anna did a great job matching items to my style. I kept 1/5 items.

If you decide not to keep all the items, you can return them for free with the enclosed envelope that is prepaid. It’s so easy to do or if you decide to keep all the items, you will receive 25% off your total.

If you’re looking to give a gift that they would love, Stitch Fix offers gift cards. It’s a great present for Mother’s Day! They are actual cards or it can be emailed to that special someone. Here is the link: Stitch Fix gift card.

White jeans are a wardrobe staple

Disclaimer: This post contains affiliate links. If you use my affiliate link, I may receive a small commission.

Hi there,

I think one of the most important staples to a wardrobe is white jeans. Remember back in the day when everyone use to say you can’t wear white after Labor Day, well not no more! That’s old school! You can wear white whenever you want. Of course it is more popular in spring and summer.

I myself love white jeans or capris. You can dress them up or down. I can dress the jeans up to wear them to work with a cute blouse or dress them down with slip on sneakers and a tee shirt.

White jeans are so versatile. I’m going to show you some outfits with the jeans and jean capris. I’ll also include links if your interested in purchasing them.

This first look is great for a night out or to wear to work. I dressed it up with my pearl flats and a cute clutch. I linked a similar top. This brand of jeans are my favorite. They are not see through and are comfy.

Top link: Top  similar

Jeans link: White jeans

Flats link: pearl flats

This next outfit is with white jean capris. These are great for a more casual look but you could dress it up with wedges or heels. I like wearing these when it’s to hot to wear jeans but not hot enough for shorts.

Top link: Top – only available in plus size now

Jeans link: White jeans  similar pair

Sneakers link: Sneakers similar pair

This next look I dressed up with a pair of wedges. You could also dress it down with sneakers. I have both ways posted to give you ideas on how to style this look.

Top link: Pink top

Jeans link: White jeans

Sneakers link: Sneakers  similar pair

Wedges link: Wedges  similar pair

I hope you can get yourself some white jeans or capris or already have them in your closet. It’s a great alternative to regular blue jeans and they make an outfit pop with color!

Stitch Fix review April 2018

Disclaimer: This post contains affiliate links. If you use my affiliate link, I may receive a small commission.

Hi there,

Happy April! It is spring right?! Well it surely doesn’t feel like it here in the North East. One day it’s nice and 60 degrees, the next day we got 6 inches of snow! You’ll see it in my pictures I took for my latest fix.

I received my 51st box this month! I have been participating with Stitch Fix for over four years. I really have accumulated some great pieces over the years. My stylist Anna sent me another great box. We will get into that shortly. I’ll show you each item and let you know what I thought of them. I’ll also let you know what I decided to keep.

Listed below is the style card I received for this fix. Now let’s get into what I received.

Wisp- Tressa ponte dress $74

This floral dress is so pretty and comfortable. I felt like I should be on an island wearing it. It totally got me in the mood for warmer weather. I even dug out my sandals for this picture.

It was a little to snug on me so I decided to send it back. The beauty about Stitch Fix is that if you really like an item you can ask for a larger size. If they have it in stock, they will send it to you.

Market & Spruce – Vassar lace up detail hooded knit top $64

I took this next picture the day after the dress picture. Check out all the snow!

I just love this top and color. I usually don’t like hoodies but I don’t even know it’s there. The lace up sleeves are a cute detail. I paired it with my pearl jeans from my Fix last month and kicks for a casual look. You could also pair it with leggings.

You guessed right, I kept this top! How could I not? It really is comfy.

MPG – Berkeley performance legging $54

This next look is athletic wear. These leggings are stretchy and form fitting. I do like the capri style. They have a unique design on them and are really lightweight. I paired it with my own top. I just love the saying!

I decided not to keep the leggings since I already have a few pairs. If I didn’t have a few, I would of totally kept them.

41 Hawthorn – Liano mixed material top $54

Cosmic blue love – Adrianne boyfriend jean $88

I combined the top and jeans for this outfit. This pretty floral top has a cut out in the front and is a tank. It great to wear by itself or with a cardigan. These jeans are a great staple for spring and summer.

I added my pink cardigan from my Fix from February. It pulled out the color from the flowers. You could also wear this top with jeans or dress it up with pants. Unfortunately I did not keep this outfit. I have white jeans and the top was pretty but I have a similar one.

This month I decided to try the extras Stitch Fix offers. It could be camis, shape wear, socks, tights, intimates, etc… I kept 2 of these items as well! You can add them on before you get your next box.

They are actual cards or it can be emailed to that special someone. Here is the link: Stitch Fix gift card.

Unique wood watches by Jord, a must have accessory

Hi there,

I first heard about Jord watches on Instagram. It really intrigued me, a watch made of wood, it’s so unique! They look so pretty and versatile.

I was excited to have partnered with Jord watches. When I received my watch it came in a cedar wooden box that smelled amazing! The storage box has a draw and plenty of room for all of the accessories. It included extra links, 2 cloths and finishing oil. Shown below are all the items the watch came with.

These watches come in all different styles and sizes. I chose the Frankie series watch #35. Since blue is my favorite color it was a no brainer.

Here is an up close picture of the watch I chose. We just had a snow storm prior to when I received the watch. You would think wood would be rough on your arm but it is so soft that it doesn’t hurt at all. Sometimes I forget it’s on, it’s that light! Another thing that makes this watch special is the clasp to close it. It’s so unique and easy to close it by myself. It really is a great watch, you won’t be disappointed.

Here is the link to this watch:

Frankie watch 35

This watch is made from zebrawood and has a navy face. It is splash proof but should not be submerged in water. I think the prices are reasonable for a custom made wood watch.

Here is the link to all of Jord’s unique watches: Jord watches. Take a look at the men’s and women’s watches.

They also offer a one year from date of purchase warranty.

Jord also offers engraving their unique wood watches and/or their cedar watch box making a great present for a loved one.

Jord is offering my followers a chance at winning $100 off one of their watches! Listed is the link below:

This contest will close on 4/8/2018 at 11:59pm CST. Good luck!

Hope you enjoyed this review of Jord watches, why not give them a try!

Stitch Fix review March 2018

Disclaimer: This post contains affiliate links. If you use my affiliate link, I may receive a small commission.

Hi there,

It’s March already but we are still getting snow here in New Jersey! Where is the warmer weather, the crocuses, green grass, open windows, wearing lighter clothes and jackets?! I know it’s coming but not soon enough.

Well my March fix is starting to get me ready for spring. I have the itch and it better come soon.

This month Stitch Fix started something new called extras. What it means is that you can add these items below to your Fix in addition to the five items you already received. I added a few items to my next fix so I will update you next month on what I thought about it.

I received my 50th box this month! I have been participating with Stitch Fix for over four years. I really have accumulated some great pieces over the years. My stylist Anna sent me another great box. We will get into that shortly. I’ll show you each item and let you know what I thought of them. I’ll also let you know what I decided to keep.

Listed below is the style card I received for this fix. Now let’s get into what I received.

Madison Lily- Cora back detail pullover $38

This red top has an adorable back criss cross detail. The material is soft and comfy. I paired this top with my jeggings and booties. This top would look great with white jeans as well. I decided not to keep it because my hair is longer in the back and you won’t see the detail much. It’s really cute though!

Adelyn Rae – Makaila cold shoulder blouse $58

I have to honest, when I first looked at this blouse out of the box I wasn’t crazy about it. Then when I put it on and took a picture I really liked it! That’s why you have to try all the items on. It may not be your style but once you try it, you could like it.

I decided not to keep it but I may ask for my stylist to send it next month. I checked out before I tried it on. What a bummer!

Chaser- Myrtie open sleeve detail pullover $58

Next up is this open sleeve pullover top. This top is really soft and lightweight. I have one similar in pink otherwise I would of kept it. I really like the olive color and design. I went for a casual look with my distressed jeans and kicks. You could totally dress up this top too!

Good Hyouman- Ravi graphic detail legging $79

These leggings are stretchy, comfy and stylish! Whether your going out and about, going to the gym or hanging home these are perfect for that. I decided not to keep them because I have a few pairs of leggings.

Driftwood- Kacey pearl embellishment scissor cut hem skinny jean $114

I have been wanting to get a pair of these jeans but never found the right fit until now. I really love the pearl detail and the skinny fit. I paired the jeans with my lace top, cardigan and booties. You can dress these jeans up or down.

My stylist Anna did a great job matching items to my style. I kept 1/5 but I may ask for the cold shoulder top next time.

If you decide not to keep all the items, you can return them for free with the enclosed envelope that is prepaid. It’s so easy to do or if you decide to keep all the items, you will receive 25% off your total.

Sip and Style at the Loft

Disclaimer: This post contains affiliate links. If you use my affiliate link, I may receive a small commission.

Hi there,

I hosted my first Sip and Style at the Loft! I was so excited for this event. It was held at the Paramus Park mall in New Jersey. I invited my friends and family. The staff at the Loft couldn’t be any nicer and easier to work with. I was couldn’t wait to see their spring line, it just came out. When I first got to the Loft, it was all set up with snacks and drinks. Perfect combination eating, drinking and shopping! I love all three.

Next the guests started to arrive. It was great to see everyone and share this special night with them. We were ready to start shopping!

We just kept shopping, trying on clothes and laughing! It really was a lot of fun! Get a group of ladies together you’re bound to have a good time.

I kept twinning all night. I told my friend she better not wear her outfit the same day as me!! Listed below are the links for this outfit. We both loved it. The pants are super soft!

Here we all are trying on the new spring collection. I wanted to take all my outfits home with me. Everyone looks fabulous!! The staff was great with helping us get more size options and giving us more clothes to try on.

I also had some of my blogger friends come to the event. Since I started blogging I have met some great ladies. It’s great that we support one another.

This top I am holding is so cute. I love the cut out back detail. They have a few sweaters like this. The pink one is listed below.
