Hi there,

Listed below are casual winter outfits that I would like to share with you. This is a great time of year to buy clothes, since mostly everything is on sale for the holidays.

This sweater I’m about to show you is so cute and comfy. Stars are popular right now, they are really trending. I paired the sweater with jeans but you could wear dress pants with it as well. Below are links for the outfits….

Link for sweater: Star sweater

Link for jeans: Jeans

This next outfit has this pretty cable sweater that comes in whisper white or this beautiful blue color. You can pair it with a pair of jeans, dress pants or even a skirt. Links are below…

This outfit is a great casual outfit with positive vibes!! I always like shirts with cute sayings. I couldn’t find the same exact color but I found a similar color. I wore this top with jean leggings and boots. Links are below….

A trending top is the lace up. It could lace in the front, back or sleeves. I like how it laces but doesn’t show too much skin. This goes well with jeans, leggings and even a skirt. Link is below….

Link for jeans: Skinny jeans

You’ll notice that I really like wearing cardigans “cardis”. I wear a tank under the cardi and you’re good to go! I wear cardis to work or casually. This outfit I paired with jeans. Link is below….

I hope you got some ideas on how to pair items for the winter. I love to dress casual in my down time. Every day I dress up for work, so I enjoy wearing these outfits since they are comfy and still stylish.

Stitch Fix review December 2017

Hi there,

I can’t believe the holidays are almost upon us. This year flew by. This is my last box for this year, it’s my 47th box! I’m totally hooked, can’t you tell!

For those who do not know what Stitch Fix is, it is a monthly subscription mail order for clothes, shoes, jewelry and accessories. You get 5 items in each box. You set up your personal profile and customize it to your liking. It’s like Christmas in a box every month!! I can’t wait for that brown box to arrive with the Stitch Fix tape on it. I get an email that it shipped out and I track it when it should arrive. Usually in 3 days or less.

Once it arrives, I open the box and get a price sheet with the description of each item. I also get a card which shows each item I received, how to wear it and a personal note from my stylist.

Here is an example of the styling card.

Let’s get into what I received and how I styled it.

The first item is by Samantha Dru, it’s the Cheliz velvet knit sweatshirt. This has to be the softest sweatshirt I ever owned. It’s such a pretty shade of grey. You can’t go wrong with this sweatshirt. I wore it out and about doing errands and it kept me so warm. Look at the picture, I spy a little eye!! I just noticed my daughters eye in the picture on the left side!! 😂

Kept: how could I not keep this amazing sweatshirt!! Love, love, love it!

img_2047-1img_2044

The second item I received was by Teeberry & Weave, it’s the Juliah plaid back pullover. It’s comfortable and you can pair it with jeans, dress pants or even a skirt. Here is the front which is solid black and the back which has the print. Oh and you can see our laser lights through my curtain for Christmas!

Returned: Although it is a cute top, I had a similar one. If I didn’t have one, I would have kept it.

< em>

img_2043

The third item I received is by TrulyPoppy, it’s the Pam mesh detail lace dress. This dress is really adorable but it didn’t fit. You can request a bigger size, if this ever happens to you! Stitch Fix will see if they have it and send it to you. I did not take a picture in it. I liked the lace detail and mesh netting on the top. It’s a great dress for a holiday party or to wear at work. Throw a cardigan over it if you get chilly! It could be worn in the spring and summer too. This is an all season dress.

Returned: It didn’t fit!

img_2042

The fourth item is by B Collection by Bobeau, it’s the Jaime open lapel cardigan. I really liked this cardigan. The Olive green color is very pretty. It’s a soft and cozy cardigan. I paired it with jeans but you could wear it with dressy pants too.

Returned: I have a similar one.

img_2046-1

The last item I received was by Madison & Lola, it’s the Devyn faux fur-lined faux suede vest. So this was a really tough decision. This vest is soft, lightweight and my favorite color blue! I have to watch my budget this month especially with the holidays around the corner. So sadly I returned it. 😥

Returned: I may request this in a future box.

img_2045 Overall it was a great fix. I kept 1/5. If you decide not to keep all the items, you can return them for free with the enclosed envelope that is prepaid. It’s so easy to do or you can keep all items and receive 25% off your total.

The holidays are coming why not give a gift card to a loved one. They can buy a cute piece or try it out for the first time. Here is the link: Stitch Fix gift card link Great news starting last month for a short period of time, Stitch Fix is waiving the styling fee of $20. If you were on the fence about trying it, now is your chance risk free!! Get it while it lasts!  Click on my link to receive the waived fee. Stitch Fix waived styling fee I hope you enjoyed this review. Give Stitch Fix a try, you won’t be disappointed!

Stitch Fix review November 2017

Hi there,

So here I am at box #46!! Yes, I’m still excited every time I get a box. You never know what you’re going to get!! I usually don’t request anything particular, I liked to be surprised, unless I want a certain item.

For those who do not know what Stitch Fix is, it is a monthly subscription mail order for clothes, shoes, jewelry and accessories. You get 5 items in each box. It’s like Christmas in a box every month!! I can’t wait for that brown box to arrive with the Stitch Fix tape on it. I get an email that it shipped out and I track it when it should arrive. Usually in 3 days or less.

I open the box and get a price sheet with the description of each item. I also get a card which shows each item I received, how to wear it and a personal note from my stylist.

Here is an example of the styling card.

Now let’s get into what I received and how I styled it.

First item is Olive & Oak Maryanne striped pullover sweater. This sweater is really soft and cozy. I also loved how it fit.

The second item is Kut from the Kloth – Dayna distressed skinny jeans which are comfy too. I say it all the time that Kut from the Kloth are my favorite brand of jeans. They are stretchy and comfortable. I also wore my Steve Madden sneakers. I wore this when I was out and about doing errands.

Kept: the Olive & Oak sweater! Loved it!!

Returned: the Kut from the Kloth jeans. I have a similar pair!

Third item I received is the Le lis Alante woven back knit top. This is such a pretty detailed top in the back. I love the floral pattern. I paired it with the skinny jeans I received. You could dress this top up with dress pants or a skirt and boots!

The fourth item I received was Seavees Monterey canvas lace up sneakers. They matched the top perfectly!

Returned: both the top and sneakers. I wasn’t crazy about the sneakers and I do have a similar top! It is cute though, I almost kept it!!

The last item I received was Truly Poppy’s Arachna lace detail blouse. This top was a pretty shade of purple and had lace detail in the back. I didn’t take a picture in this one because it wasn’t flattering on me. 😞

Returned: it was tight and to see through for me. You could wear a cami underneath and it would be fine.

All in all it was a great fix. I kept 1/5. I was happy with my choice.

If you decide not to keep all the items, you can return them for free with the enclosed envelope that is prepaid. It’s so easy to do.

Hi there,

I wanted to share my exciting news that last month I became a Stitch Fix influencer!! What that means is that I will be promoting Stitch Fix. I do love Stitch Fix already and have been using for almost 4, yes 4 years!!

Basically what Stitch Fix is an online styling service personalized to your style and budget. You get 5 total items of clothes, shoes and accessories. You can keep all items and get 25% off your total or keep a few items and get $20 (your styling fee) off your total. Anything you don’t keep you can return in the prepaid envelope. You get 3 days from when you receive your items to decide to keep them or return them. I usually always keep at least one item.

They have recently expanded the sizes and are now carry men’s clothing and maternity as well!!

Every month I will show you what items that I have received in the box, how I wear them and what I decided to keep or send back. It is a great concept and service.

Pearl flats

Hi there,

I wanted to share with you one of my favorite pairs of shoes I got so far this season. We all know pearls are the rage but these shoes have pearls and a little bit of bling!

They really are adorable on! I do have wider feet so I did stretch them out a bit in the front.  Below I wore them with skinny jeans but you can dress them up as well.

This is how I wore them with my black Michael Kors shirt and Kut from the Kloth skinny jeans below.

Below I am wearing them with black pants from Stitch Fix for a dressier look! They really are versatile. I do get a lot of compliments on them.

Here is the link for these shoes:Pearl flats

I hope you enjoy them as much as I do. Let me know what you think!

Wild for plaid and Zoo Boo

Disclaimer: This post contains affiliate links. If you use my affiliate link, I may receive a small commission.

Hi there,

I don’t know about you but I just love plaid prints and vests. It goes great in keeping with the fall style. I paired this outfit with a solid purple vest and kept it casual with jeans and boots.

I was so excited today that I won a bouquet of flowers from my local florist. Aren’t they fall festive!!

We had a day packed with everything Halloween themed. In the morning, I took the kids to our local park for a Halloween parade.

Then at night we went to Van Saun Park in Paramus, NJ for Zoo Boo. They sell out quickly so you have to get tickets in advance. They decorate the zoo for Halloween and have a haunted train ride. Below are some pictures of Zoo Boo. This is the entrance.

Here is the haunted train ride. They make different scenes of horror movies and they come to life!

Graveyard scene. Luckily no one jumped out at us here!

This is the bloody Dr. office scene. 😳 So gruesome!!

Creepy doll scene!!

Next stop the Bates motel! You check in but you don’t check out!!!

Shower scene from Pyscho!! 🔪🚿 The girl ran out screaming!!!

This the General Store in the zoo.

Witch scene in the zoo.

It was a fun night! The kids had a blast and so did we. Halloween is one of my favorite holidays.

Here is another way I styled this outfit with distressed jeans and pearl boots! I was a comfy and casual outfit for a fun-filled day.

I listed the links to this outfit below…

Vest: Purple vest

Plaid button down shirt:Plaid shirt

Jeans: Jeans

Boots:Boots

Purse: Pursethis one is similar

Hope you all have a safe and Happy Halloween!! 🎃

Stitch Fix review October 2017

Disclaimer: This post contains affiliate links. If you use my affiliate link, I may receive a small commission.

Hi there,

Well I have exciting news this month!! I partnered with Stitch Fix. I’m so excited since I have been subscribing to their subscription box for almost 4 years! This is my #45th box. I can’t believe it, time really does fly.

I have watched this company grow and now I’m a small piece of it!

Let’s get into what I received and how I styled it.

My 1st item is Brooklyn Henley Top by Olive and Oak. I paired this colorful top with jean leggings and boots. Plaid is always in season for the fall. It’s so comfy and stylish.

Kept: of course I did!! How could I not.

The 2nd and 3rd item are Jacobella stitched dot knit top by 41 Hawthorn and Jodi skinny pant by One5One. I paired these two items together, wore ballet flats and a silver necklace. This top has little colorful dots on them and a pocket.

Returned: These skinny pants are so soft like leggings but I have a similar pair. If I didn’t have them I would of them. The shirt is adorable but not my style.

The next 2 items are Shara herringbone vest by 41Hawthorn and Brixton pleat shoulder scoop neck knit top by 41Hawthorn and I paired it again with the Jodi skinny pants by One5one. I also added a gold necklace.

Returned: all of the pieces. I have similar pieces. I have to be more specific on what I have. The stylist pick out great clothes for me.

If you decide not to keep all the items, you can return them for free with the enclosed envelope that is prepaid. It’s so easy to do.

I hope you enjoyed this review.

Give Stitch Fix a try, you won’t be disappointed!
