This has been a really busy month for me! I was trying to get this post out sooner but it was tough. Between Christmas parties, school functions, work parties, Christmas shopping and wrapping, I’m beat! Oh and hosting Christmas too. Whew, that was a lot! It’s all worth it though to see those smiling faces of my kids.
I hope you and your family had a wonderful holiday season. It’s almost New Years and I hope you have a healthy and prosperous one.
My stylist delivered again! He really has my style down to a tee. I will get into the items shortly but let me explain to the people who don’t know what Stitch Fix is about it first. If you already know about it, scroll down to see the items I received.
Stitch Fix is a monthly subscription mail order for clothes, shoes, jewelry and accessories. You get 5 items in each box. You set up your personal profile and customize it to your liking. It’s like Christmas in a box every month!! I can’t wait for that brown box to arrive with the Stitch Fix tape on it. I get an email that it shipped out and I track it when it should arrive. Usually in 3 days or less.
Once it arrives, I open the box and get a price sheet with the description of each item. I also get a card which shows each item I received, how to wear it and a personal note from my stylist.
Listed below is the style card I received for this fix. Now let’s get into what I received.
Papermoon – Larie crew neck blouse $44
Sts Blue – Neve clean fray skinny jean $49
First let me tell you about these jeans. They are so comfortable and look so cute. I love the frayed hem details. I totally kept them. There was no question about it! I liked the style of this top but I wasn’t crazy about the pattern but it is perfect for fall. I did return it.
You could wear dress pants with this top or a skirt for a dressier look.
Pinque – Lily cropped scallop hem pullover $44
What’s not to love about this sweater. I love the unique scalloped hem and stripes are a win for me. I would have kept this sweater but there was a slight pull in the cuff. I did send it back. They offered to replace it for me! Best customer service! We took our kids to Candytopia in NYC and it was so fun. This picture of Willy Wonka is made all out of candy!
41 Hawthorn – Jessie printed essential fitted cardigan $54
This cardigan has such a fun animal print. It’s quite popular this season. I put a cami underneath it to wear it for a more casual look. I paired it with these velvet-black jeans I have. I decided not to keep it only because I have one almost identical to this.
West Kei – Allen tie sleeve high low blouse – $38
I have to say for this month, this blouse is my favorite. The color is a pretty shade of green and it has ties on the sleeves. I wore it for a few parties this holiday season. It could totally be worn all year along. The price is right so I decided to keep it.
See how versatile these boxes can be. I can dress the items I receive up or down for day or night.
That is my December review of Stitch Fix and the items I received. My stylist did an amazing job matching items to my style. It’s so easy to do or if you decide to keep all the items, you will receive 25% off your total.
