It’s March already but we are still getting snow here in New Jersey! Where is the warmer weather, the crocuses, green grass, open windows, wearing lighter clothes and jackets?! I know it’s coming but not soon enough.
Well my March fix is starting to get me ready for spring. I have the itch and it better come soon.
This month Stitch Fix started something new called extras. What it means is that you can add these items below to your Fix in addition to the five items you already received. I added a few items to my next fix so I will update you next month on what I thought about it.
I received my 50th box this month! I have been participating with Stitch Fix for over four years. I really have accumulated some great pieces over the years. My stylist Anna sent me another great box. We will get into that shortly. I’ll show you each item and let you know what I thought of them. I’ll also let you know what I decided to keep.
I want to let you know what Stitch Fix is, if you didn’t know already. Stitch Fix is a monthly subscription mail order for clothes, shoes, jewelry and accessories. You get 5 items in each box. You set up your personal profile and customize it to your liking. It’s like Christmas in a box every month!! I can’t wait for that brown box to arrive with the Stitch Fix tape on it. I get an email that it shipped out and I track it when it should arrive. Usually in 3 days or less.
Once it arrives, I open the box and get a price sheet with the description of each item. I also get a card which shows each item I received, how to wear it and a personal note from my stylist.
Listed below is the style card I received for this fix. Now let’s get into what I received.
Madison Lily- Cora back detail pullover $38
This red top has an adorable back criss cross detail. The material is soft and comfy. I paired this top with my jeggings and booties. This top would look great with white jeans as well. I decided not to keep it because my hair is longer in the back and you won’t see the detail much. It’s really cute though!
Adelyn Rae – Makaila cold shoulder blouse $58
I have to honest, when I first looked at this blouse out of the box I wasn’t crazy about it. Then when I put it on and took a picture I really liked it! That’s why you have to try all the items on. It may not be your style but once you try it, you could like it.
I decided not to keep it but I may ask for my stylist to send it next month. I checked out before I tried it on. What a bummer!
Chaser- Myrtie open sleeve detail pullover $58
Next up is this open sleeve pullover top. This top is really soft and lightweight. I have one similar in pink otherwise I would of kept it. I really like the olive color and design. I went for a casual look with my distressed jeans and kicks. You could totally dress up this top too!
Good Hyouman- Ravi graphic detail legging $79
These leggings are stretchy, comfy and stylish! Whether your going out and about, going to the gym or hanging home these are perfect for that. I decided not to keep them because I have a few pairs of leggings.
Driftwood- Kacey pearl embellishment scissor cut hem skinny jean $114
I have been wanting to get a pair of these jeans but never found the right fit until now. I really love the pearl detail and the skinny fit. I paired the jeans with my lace top, cardigan and booties. You can dress these jeans up or down.
My stylist Anna did a great job matching items to my style. I kept 1/5 but I may ask for the cold shoulder top next time.
If you decide not to keep all the items, you can return them for free with the enclosed envelope that is prepaid. It’s so easy to do or if you decide to keep all the items, you will receive 25% off your total.
