Stitch Fix review April 2018

Disclaimer: This post contains affiliate links. If you use my affiliate link, I may receive a small commission.

Hi there,

Happy April! It is spring right?! Well it surely doesn’t feel like it here in the North East. One day it’s nice and 60 degrees, the next day we got 6 inches of snow! You’ll see it in my pictures I took for my latest fix.

I received my 51st box this month! I have been participating with Stitch Fix for over four years. I really have accumulated some great pieces over the years. My stylist Anna sent me another great box. We will get into that shortly. I’ll show you each item and let you know what I thought of them. I’ll also let you know what I decided to keep.

I want to let you know what Stitch Fix is, if you didn’t know already. Stitch Fix is a monthly subscription mail order for clothes, shoes, jewelry and accessories. You get 5 items in each box. You set up your personal profile and customize it to your liking. It’s like Christmas in a box every month!! I can’t wait for that brown box to arrive with the Stitch Fix tape on it. I get an email that it shipped out and I track it when it should arrive. Usually in 3 days or less.

Once it arrives, I open the box and get a price sheet with the description of each item. I also get a card which shows each item I received, how to wear it and a personal note from my stylist.

Listed below is the style card I received for this fix. Now let’s get into what I received.

Wisp- Tressa ponte dress $74

This floral dress is so pretty and comfortable. I felt like I should be on an island wearing it. It totally got me in the mood for warmer weather. I even dug out my sandals for this picture.

It was a little to snug on me so I decided to send it back. The beauty about Stitch Fix is that if you really like an item you can ask for a larger size. If they have it in stock, they will send it to you.

Market & Spruce – Vassar lace up detail hooded knit top $64

I took this next picture the day after the dress picture. Check out all the snow!

I just love this top and color. I usually don’t like hoodies but I don’t even know it’s there. The lace up sleeves are a cute detail. I paired it with my pearl jeans from my Fix last month and kicks for a casual look. You could also pair it with leggings.

You guessed right, I kept this top! How could I not? It really is comfy.

MPG – Berkeley performance legging $54

This next look is athletic wear. These leggings are stretchy and form fitting. I do like the capri style. They have a unique design on them and are really lightweight. I paired it with my own top. I just love the saying!

I decided not to keep the leggings since I already have a few pairs. If I didn’t have a few, I would of totally kept them.

41 Hawthorn – Liano mixed material top $54

Cosmic blue love – Adrianne boyfriend jean $88

I combined the top and jeans for this outfit. This pretty floral top has a cut out in the front and is a tank. It great to wear by itself or with a cardigan. These jeans are a great staple for spring and summer.

I added my pink cardigan from my Fix from February. It pulled out the color from the flowers. You could also wear this top with jeans or dress it up with pants. Unfortunately I did not keep this outfit. I have white jeans and the top was pretty but I have a similar one.

This month I decided to try the extras Stitch Fix offers. It could be camis, shape wear, socks, tights, intimates, etc… I kept 2 of these items as well! You can add them on before you get your next box.

My stylist Anna did a great job matching items to my style. I kept 1/5 items.

If you decide not to keep all the items, you can return them for free with the enclosed envelope that is prepaid. It’s so easy to do or if you decide to keep all the items, you will receive 25% off your total.

If you’re looking to give a gift that they would love, Stitch Fix offers gift cards. They are actual cards or it can be emailed to that special someone. Here is the link: Stitch Fix gift card.

Stitch Fix review March 2018

Disclaimer: This post contains affiliate links. If you use my affiliate link, I may receive a small commission.

Hi there,

It’s March already but we are still getting snow here in New Jersey! Where is the warmer weather, the crocuses, green grass, open windows, wearing lighter clothes and jackets?! I know it’s coming but not soon enough.

Well my March fix is starting to get me ready for spring. I have the itch and it better come soon.

This month Stitch Fix started something new called extras. What it means is that you can add these items below to your Fix in addition to the five items you already received. I added a few items to my next fix so I will update you next month on what I thought about it.

I received my 50th box this month! I have been participating with Stitch Fix for over four years. I really have accumulated some great pieces over the years. My stylist Anna sent me another great box. We will get into that shortly. I’ll show you each item and let you know what I thought of them. I’ll also let you know what I decided to keep.

Listed below is the style card I received for this fix. Now let’s get into what I received.

Madison Lily- Cora back detail pullover $38

This red top has an adorable back criss cross detail. The material is soft and comfy. I paired this top with my jeggings and booties. This top would look great with white jeans as well. I decided not to keep it because my hair is longer in the back and you won’t see the detail much. It’s really cute though!

Adelyn Rae – Makaila cold shoulder blouse $58

I have to honest, when I first looked at this blouse out of the box I wasn’t crazy about it. Then when I put it on and took a picture I really liked it! That’s why you have to try all the items on. It may not be your style but once you try it, you could like it.

I decided not to keep it but I may ask for my stylist to send it next month. I checked out before I tried it on. What a bummer!

Chaser- Myrtie open sleeve detail pullover $58

Next up is this open sleeve pullover top. This top is really soft and lightweight. I have one similar in pink otherwise I would of kept it. I really like the olive color and design. I went for a casual look with my distressed jeans and kicks. You could totally dress up this top too!

Good Hyouman- Ravi graphic detail legging $79

These leggings are stretchy, comfy and stylish! Whether your going out and about, going to the gym or hanging home these are perfect for that. I decided not to keep them because I have a few pairs of leggings.

Driftwood- Kacey pearl embellishment scissor cut hem skinny jean $114

I have been wanting to get a pair of these jeans but never found the right fit until now. I really love the pearl detail and the skinny fit. I paired the jeans with my lace top, cardigan and booties. You can dress these jeans up or down.

My stylist Anna did a great job matching items to my style. I kept 1/5 but I may ask for the cold shoulder top next time.

If you decide not to keep all the items, you can return them for free with the enclosed envelope that is prepaid. It’s so easy to do or if you decide to keep all the items, you will receive 25% off your total.

Stitch Fix review February 2018

Disclaimer: This post contains affiliate links. If you use my affiliate link, I may receive a small commission.

Hi there,

I can’t believe it’s February already! It’s the month to celebrate the ones you love. I do try to show them all year-long as well. It’s fun to give my Husband and the kids cute presents and cards. I also enjoy decorating for the holiday and the color palette!

I received my #49th box for this month! My stylist Anna sent me some great pieces. I’ll show you each item and let you know what I thought of them. I’ll also let you know what I decided to keep.

For those who do not know what Stitch Fix is, it is a monthly subscription mail order for clothes, shoes, jewelry and accessories.

Andrew Marc performance- Quarry cut out detail knit top $44

Warp & Weft- Jaicee distressed frayed hem skinny jeans $98

This first outfit I paired the two items I received in this box. This top is so comfy and lightweight. It has a cutout by the neckline. You can see it in the next picture. The jeans are really soft, stretchy and stylish too. I added a pop of color with my burgundy booties.

I decided to keep the Love top by Andrew Marc. It so festive for Valentine’s Day and all year-long.

I returned the jeans. I have a similar pair but these are really cute. I liked the cut outs and frayed hem.

It was lightly snowing when I took this shot! I tried not to look cold! 🤣

Here I changed it up with red pants and slip on sneakers for a more casual look.

Market & Spruce- Camren bow-back knit top $54

I paired this polka dot top with a pair of black straight leg pants I received on a previous fix and riding boots. On the back of this top is a bow. You could dress this top up or down. I added my pink cross body bag and pink tassel earrings.

I did return it because I have a blue top with polka dots. It is comfy and I do like the 3/4 sleeves.

Good Hyouman- Brooke printed ruched detail legging $68

These leggings are great for lounging around or running out and about. The ruched part at the ankle are stylish. I paired these leggings with my top. I am a Jersey girl through and through! I added my blinged slip on sneakers for a dressier touch. You could wear these to work out too!

I may return them because they are slightly to short for me. I had to keep pulling them down. I am about 5’8. I do have the option to order a larger size from Stitch Fix. That’s a great perk!

I couldn’t believe it was almost 50 degrees today! It was warm enough to take this picture without freezing!

Fate- Spears side ruffle pullover sweater $54

This last piece I received is so cute on! I’m all about the ruffles. This top is adorable! I kept this look casual but you could dress this up with dressy pants or a skirt and some heels.

I wish I didn’t own one similar otherwise I would have kept it!

My stylist Anna did a great job matching items to my style. I kept 1/5 but I may get a larger size leggings for the length.

If you decide not to keep all the items, you can return them for free with the enclosed envelope that is prepaid. It’s so easy to do or if you decide to keep all the items, you will receive 25% off your total.

Stitch Fix review January 2018

Disclaimer: This post contains affiliate links. If you use my affiliate link, I may receive a small commission.

Hi there,

Let me start off with saying Happy New Year!! I hope you have a happy and healthy New Year. Mine started great because I spent it with friends and family. Also to my surprise my Stitch Fix box #48 came a few days early. What a treat for me! I was so happy when I saw this box on my steps. I’m like a kid at Christmas time.

I have great news for this month, Stitch Fix is waiving their styling fee of $20. I have the special link attached for you here: Waived fee.

For those who do not know what Stitch Fix is, it is a monthly subscription mail order for clothes, shoes, jewelry and accessories.

Here is my recent styling card. My stylist Anna chose great pieces for me. I love the color palette she picked.

Now that you have an idea of what Stitch Fix is, let’s get into what I received.

Lemon Tart – Kaine velvet lace up pullover $68

This pullover is adorable. I really like the detail of the velvet lace criss-cross in the front. It gives it a delicate touch. I paired it with a pair of Kut From The Kloth jeans I received a while back. This top could be worn dressed up or down.

Tahari- Charles suede bootie $109

First of all I just love the olive-green color of these booties. It’s very different from all the other booties you see out there. It has a two-inch heel so it’s not to high and it’s comfy to wear. The back has an adorable bow detail.

Driftwood- Britt embroidered cuff scissor cut hem straight leg jean $98

RD Style- Kylin chenille cardigan $68.

I paired the jeans, cardigan and boots together for this picture. This soft and cozy pink chenille cardigan is amazing! I can’t tell you how many times I wore it already and it felt so comfortable.

The Driftwood jeans are really stretchy and soft. The embroidered cuff has a pretty floral detail. You really have so many options when pairing these jeans with a top.

Olive & Oak- Orchid velour hooded pullover $58

This velour pullover is so soft and it comes with a hood. This top can be worn with a pair with leggings, jeans or dress pants. I went for a casual look with my Kut From The Kloth jeans.

My stylist this month Anna, did a great job pairing these items to my style. I received pretty tops, jeans and booties. I decided to keep 1/5 items. I have to watch my budget this month especially after the holidays! I wish I could of kept it all.

If you decide not to keep all the items, you can return them for free with the enclosed envelope that is prepaid. It’s so easy to do or if you decide to keep all the items, you will receive 25% off your total.

Just to remind you, Stitch Fix is waiving their fee of $20 this month with my special link:  Waived fee. Why not try it, you won’t regret it and it’s risk free!

New year, new journeys

Hi there,

First off, I would like to thank you for being part of this blogging journey with me. I started blogging at the end of May of 2017. The reason I started blogging because I was inspired by the following women @LivinginYellow (Erin) and @JolynneShane that I follow on Pinterest. I thought to myself that it looks like fun and really wanted to try it. I thought about trying it a year before I started. Then one day I just said I’m going to do it. Life is to short not to try it!

I had no idea what I was doing and where to start. I did a LOT of reading on how to start a blog. Next I chose my niche of fashion/style and I was on my way. Then I created this blog on WordPress, next was social media… Instagram, Pinterest and Facebook! Connecting with other bloggers is great for support and guidance.

I’m so happy and honored to have partnered with Stitch Fix, Jane, Rose gal and Shop Style Collective. This past year has been a learning curve for me. I’m still trying to figure out some days what works and doesn’t.

What I am looking forward to this year is growing more, collaborating with more companies and people. I hope you enjoy the fashion styles I share with you.

Below are some of my favorite styles from 2017 on Instagram. Happy New Year to you and your family!

Stitch Fix review December 2017

Disclaimer: This post contains affiliate links. If you use my affiliate link, I may receive a small commission.

Hi there,

I can’t believe the holidays are almost upon us. This year flew by. This is my last box for this year, it’s my 47th box! I’m totally hooked, can’t you tell!

For those who do not know what Stitch Fix is, it is a monthly subscription mail order for clothes, shoes, jewelry and accessories.

Here is an example of the styling card.

Let’s get into what I received and how I styled it.

The first item is by Samantha Dru, it’s the Cheliz velvet knit sweatshirt. This has to be the softest sweatshirt I ever owned. It’s such a pretty shade of grey. You can’t go wrong with this sweatshirt. I wore it out and about doing errands and it kept me so warm. Look at the picture, I spy a little eye!! I just noticed my daughters eye in the picture on the left side!! 😂

Kept: how could I not keep this amazing sweatshirt!! Love, love, love it!

img_2047-1img_2044

The second item I received was by Teeberry & Weave, it’s the Juliah plaid back pullover. It’s comfortable and you can pair it with jeans, dress pants or even a skirt. Here is the front which is solid black and the back which has the print. Oh and you can see our laser lights through my curtain for Christmas!

Returned: Although it is a cute top, I had a similar one. If I didn’t have one, I would have kept it.

< em>

img_2043

The third item I received is by TrulyPoppy, it’s the Pam mesh detail lace dress. This dress is really adorable but it didn’t fit. You can request a bigger size, if this ever happens to you! Stitch Fix will see if they have it and send it to you. I did not take a picture in it. I liked the lace detail and mesh netting on the top. It’s a great dress for a holiday party or to wear at work. Throw a cardigan over it if you get chilly! It could be worn in the spring and summer too. This is an all season dress.

Returned: It didn’t fit!

img_2042

The fourth item is by B Collection by Bobeau, it’s the Jaime open lapel cardigan. I really liked this cardigan. The Olive green color is very pretty. It’s a soft and cozy cardigan. I paired it with jeans but you could wear it with dressy pants too.

Returned: I have a similar one.

img_2046-1

The last item I received was by Madison & Lola, it’s the Devyn faux fur-lined faux suede vest. So this was a really tough decision. This vest is soft, lightweight and my favorite color blue! I have to watch my budget this month especially with the holidays around the corner. So sadly I returned it. 😥

Returned: I may request this in a future box.

img_2045 Overall it was a great fix. I kept 1/5. If you decide not to keep all the items, you can return them for free with the enclosed envelope that is prepaid. It’s so easy to do or you can keep all items and receive 25% off your total.

The holidays are coming why not give a gift card to a loved one. They can buy a cute piece or try it out for the first time. Stitch Fix review November 2017

Hi there,

So here I am at box #46!! Yes, I’m still excited every time I get a box. You never know what you’re going to get!! I usually don’t request anything particular, I liked to be surprised, unless I want a certain item.

For those who do not know what Stitch Fix is, it is a monthly subscription mail order for clothes, shoes, jewelry and accessories. You get 5 items in each box. It’s like Christmas in a box every month!! I can’t wait for that brown box to arrive with the Stitch Fix tape on it. I get an email that it shipped out and I track it when it should arrive. Usually in 3 days or less.

I open the box and get a price sheet with the description of each item. I also get a card which shows each item I received, how to wear it and a personal note from my stylist.

Here is an example of the styling card.

Now let’s get into what I received and how I styled it.

First item is Olive & Oak Maryanne striped pullover sweater. This sweater is really soft and cozy. I also loved how it fit.

The second item is Kut from the Kloth – Dayna distressed skinny jeans which are comfy too. I say it all the time that Kut from the Kloth are my favorite brand of jeans. They are stretchy and comfortable. I also wore my Steve Madden sneakers. I wore this when I was out and about doing errands.

Kept: the Olive & Oak sweater! Loved it!!

Returned: the Kut from the Kloth jeans. I have a similar pair!

Third item I received is the Le lis Alante woven back knit top. This is such a pretty detailed top in the back. I love the floral pattern. I paired it with the skinny jeans I received. You could dress this top up with dress pants or a skirt and boots!

The fourth item I received was Seavees Monterey canvas lace up sneakers. They matched the top perfectly!

Returned: both the top and sneakers. I wasn’t crazy about the sneakers and I do have a similar top! It is cute though, I almost kept it!!

The last item I received was Truly Poppy’s Arachna lace detail blouse. This top was a pretty shade of purple and had lace detail in the back. I didn’t take a picture in this one because it wasn’t flattering on me. 😞

Returned: it was tight and to see through for me. You could wear a cami underneath and it would be fine.

All in all it was a great fix. I kept 1/5. I was happy with my choice.

If you decide not to keep all the items, you can return them for free with the enclosed envelope that is prepaid. It’s so easy to do.

Basically what Stitch Fix is an online styling service personalized to your style and budget. You get 5 total items of clothes, shoes and accessories. You can keep all items and get 25% off your total or keep a few items and get $20 (your styling fee) off your total. Anything you don’t keep you can return in the prepaid envelope. Pearl flats

Hi there,

I wanted to share with you one of my favorite pairs of shoes I got so far this season. We all know pearls are the rage but these shoes have pearls and a little bit of bling!

They really are adorable on! I do have wider feet so I did stretch them out a bit in the front.  Below I wore them with skinny jeans but you can dress them up as well.

This is how I wore them with my black Michael Kors shirt and Kut from the Kloth skinny jeans below.

Below I am wearing them with black pants from Stitch Fix for a dressier look! They really are versatile. I do get a lot of compliments on them.

Here is the link for these shoes:Pearl flats

I hope you enjoy them as much as I do. Let me know what you think!

Stitch Fix September 2017

Hi there,

This is my 44th Stitch Fix unboxing! What can I say, I love this service. I will share with you what I received this month, what I kept and returned.

For those who do not know what Stitch Fix is, it is a monthly subscription mail order for clothes, shoes, jewelry and accessories. You get 5 items in each box. I have been participating for over 3 years now.

First is the Carla crochet detail blouse by 41Hawthorne and Elizabeth super skinny jeans by Liverpool. I paired these two items together to make an outfit.

Returned: I have black skinny jeans and the top was pretty but I sent it back. I want more fall items.

Below are the styling cards. I find these handy to see how to style your outfit.

Next is Addae textured knit dress by Renee C. How cute is this dress and the pattern.

Returned: it was a little tight so I sent it back.

This next item is the Hoy cowl neck knit top by Loveappella. I also paired this with the skinny jeans. This sweater is super soft and has a funky cut!

Returned: I have a similar sweater that’s the only reason I returned it.

Last is Waldo grommet detail pullover. I really liked the grommet detail on the sleeves. It’s unique and the sweater is so soft. I’m all about comfort!

Kept: loved this sweater!

I hope you enjoyed this unboxing.

Give Stitch Fix a try, you won’t be disappointed!
