Stitch Fix review October 2018

Disclaimer: This post contains affiliate links. If you use my affiliate link, I may receive a small commission.

Happy fall all! This is a great time of year for cooler weather, apple picking, pumpkin picking, Halloween, Thanksgiving and of course fall fashion.

This month I asked my stylist for a fun box since it came right before my birthday! He sent me a complete outfit which is super cute.

I want to explain to you what Stitch Fix is if you don’t know already and then I will get into what I received. If you know all about it then you can scroll down and get into the review!

Stitch Fix is a monthly subscription mail order for clothes, shoes, jewelry and accessories. You get 5 items in each box. You set up your personal profile and customize it to your liking. It’s like Christmas in a box every month!! I can’t wait for that brown box to arrive with the Stitch Fix tape on it. I get an email that it shipped out and I track it when it should arrive. Usually in 3 days or less.

Once it arrives, I open the box and get a price sheet with the description of each item. I also get a card which shows each item I received, how to wear it and a personal note from my stylist.

Listed below is the style card I received for this fix. Now let’s get into what I received.

Stella & Ruby – Irene tortoise slab necklace $38

I normally ask not to have jewelry in my Fix because I do have enough costume jewelry. I have to say this piece is unique and colorful. It looks heavy but it’s really lightweight. It can pull out many colors in an outfit. I decided not to keep it only because I don’t need anymore jewelry at this time.

Keds – Kickstart x Kate Spade novelty lace up sneaker – $110

I have to be honest with you, I don’t usually spend that much money on a shoe unless it’s really good, well these are that good! I’m all about the leopard print this season. It’s all the rage too! I haven’t seen anything similar to this pair. Yes, they are Keds but designed by Kate Spade hence the price. I really like these but I have to watch my spending, I’m still contemplating these! I should just by it all for my birthday right?!

Hummingbird – Liara knot front knit top $34

Mix by 41 Hawthorn – Martina slub knit open cardigan $38

Kut from the Kloth – Dayna skinny jean $88

Below is the whole outfit together. This look is so comfy and stylish. My stylist Jason nailed it! He knew that I love the Kut from the Kloth brand and sent me these skinny jeans. I wish I didn’t have these jeans otherwise I would of kept them. I did decide to keep the knit top. I have a picture of it with and without the cardigan below. I decided not to keep the cardi because I do have a black one but it’s so soft and like like the slub pockets.

The brown and black together with the leopard sneakers is a great combo.

That is my October review of Stitch Fix and the items I received. My stylist did a amazing job matching items to my style. If you decide not to keep all the items, you can return them for free with the enclosed envelope that is prepaid. It’s so easy to do or if you decide to keep all the items, you will receive 25% off your total.

If you’re looking to give a gift that they would love, Stitch Fix offers gift cards. They are actual cards or it can be emailed to that special someone. Stitch Fix review September 2018

Disclaimer: This post contains affiliate links. If you use my affiliate link, I may receive a small commission.

Hi there,

September is here! We get to celebrate Labor Day, back to school and fall is on it’s way! Also it’s my birthday month! ☺️ Who’s excited to start wearing sweaters again?! Don’t get me wrong, I love summer but after a while it gets old. I’m so lucky where I live we have four seasons. I’m looking forward to all that fall has to offer. That includes apple picking, fall foliage, football, pumpkin picking, Halloween, wearing warmer clothing and boots!

This month my stylist sent me some amazing pieces. I made three complete outfits with the pieces. Listed below is the style card I received for this fix. Now let’s get into what I received.

West Kei- Julianne tie front blouse $44

Tinsel- Brian moto detail skinny pant $50

Report footwear- Hanelli woven peep toe bootie $65

Pom Pom clutch (not from Stitch Fix) it’s on sale for $7.98. Just thought I would share this great deal! Here is the link. Clutch

As soon as I saw this striped top, I knew I had to have it. You can tie the bow in the front or back! It’s so cute and stylish. I decided to keep it! I could dress it up or down depending on the outing.

I really liked these moto pants too. They were a bit tight on me so I would say to get a larger size if you decide to get them. The pants would be great to wear when I go on a motorcycle ride with my husband! Well they are moto pants! I decided not to keep them only because they were a little tight. I can always ask for a size exchange.

I will show you three different ways to style these pants. My stylist sent me three tops to go with them and these adorable neutral peep toe booties too.

Pink clover- Bay cross front detail pullover $44

This next top is I kid you not so soft! I really like the cut out detail in the front. It went well with the moto pants and booties. I could wear the sweater with jeans or dressy pants to wear to work. I’m undecided about this top because I already have a grey top but it’s really so comfy!

Kaileigh- Darcia tie neck blouse $42

This blouse has an adorable ruffle sleeve detail and a tie at the neckline. It is a great color combo with the olive green moto pants. This is another top that you could dress up or down. I think I may keep this one too.

That is my September review of Stitch Fix and the items I received. My stylist did a amazing job matching items to my style. If you decide not to keep all the items, you can return them for free with the enclosed envelope that is prepaid. Stitch Fix review August 2018

Disclaimer: This post contains affiliate links. If you use my affiliate link, I may receive a small commission.

Hi there,

This month is asked my stylist to send me affordable pieces, so I can show all of you that anyone can afford to use Stitch Fix! I have been using them for about 5 years now. If I really thought it wasn’t a good service, I would not promote it. I like to be truthful to my viewers. I became an affiliate with them last year, that’s how much I enjoy their products. I myself usually sign up for the $50-$100 range, I have not been disappointed. I wanted to see the quality of the pieces at the lower price point this month so I changed my settings in my profile to show the cheaper the better! My stylist sent me some cute pieces this month. She knew I wanted to be stylish but at a lower price point and she delivered.

Kaileigh- Valette cold shoulder blouse $38

Kan Can- Annalise distressed frayed hem cuffed skinny $58

I actually have been looking for a lemon printed top and I got one this month. I didn’t even mention it to my stylist, so I got lucky! I kept this top, I just love it. The distressed jeans are stretchy and comfy. They were a little to tight for me so I would have to go up a size. I never tried this brand before but I like it!

Papermoon- Bonney keyhole halter blouse $38

When I first saw this top I thought the print was so pretty. It fit like a charm. I’m not one for halter tops but if I was it would be a keeper. It was so light and it flared out at the bottom. I paired it with white jeans that I previously owned. There are so many ways you could style this top with jeans, skirt or dress pants. It’s so versatile.

Kaileigh- Lexy knit jumpsuit $58

Wow, what a great price for a jumpsuit! The material is so comfy and it flowed nicely. Since I am 5’8, I was worried about it fitting me properly but it was no problem. I decided not to keep it only because I’m not sure how much I would wear it. It is super cute though. I wore a kimono I previously owned but you could wear it with a cardigan or a denim jacket.

Skies are blue- Reba cotton knit skirt $44

The last item I received is this skirt. It is so soft and stretchy. I paired it with the lemon top I received, I love to mix patterns. Don’t be afraid to think outside of the box. You can dress this skirt up or down for a night out, a day at the office or just out and about. I didn’t keep this skirt because honestly I don’t wear skirts that often, maybe once in a while to work.

So that’s my August review of Stitch Fix and the items I received. My stylist did a great job matching items to my style. If you decide not to keep all the items, you can return them for free with the enclosed envelope that is prepaid. It’s so easy to do or if you decide to keep all the items, you will receive 25% off your total.

Stitch Fix review July 2018

Disclaimer: This post contains affiliate links. If you use my affiliate link, I may receive a small commission.

Hi there,

I hope your summer is off to a great start. My family and I went on vacation to California. It was our first time there and we loved it! That is the reason I’m a little late getting this blog post out. I tried to spend more time focused on the family and enjoying the sights.

When I returned home this Stitch Fix box was waiting for me! Oh, I did the happy dance! I couldn’t wait to see what my stylist sent me this month. I’m up to box #55! I love incorporating my new and old pieces together.

I want to let you know what  Stitch Fix is, if you didn’t know already.

She even saw me in my previous posts in a dress I kept and made comments about it. Talk about customizing to each individual.

Listed below is the style card I received for this fix. Now let’s get into what I received.

Vince Camuto – Gidget off the shoulder fitted knit top $68

Just give me all the stripes! I’m loving this adorable top. It has two different color blue stripes which you can see up close in the second picture. This top is great for a night on the town. I paired it with white jeans for summer vibes but you could wear this top all year long. This top maybe a keeper.

Skies are blue – Kirstie crochet shoulder blouse $58

This pretty floral tank top is perfect for summer. It has a crochet detail on the sleeves, it’s such a feminine touch. I wore this top with shorts but you could also wear it with white or blue jeans. It was a little loose on me so I would suggest sizing down. I did return it but with Stitch Fix if you want to see if they have an item you like in your size, you can ask them.

Market & Spruce – Milena embroidered cotton caftan dress $88

I felt like a Grecian goddess in this dress! The embroidered detail is so cute. It’s lightweight and comes with a slip underneath. This is a great vacation dress, it gives off beach vibes. It could also be worn out and about. This could also be a keeper.

Market & Spruce – Lorraine short $54

I must say that Market & Spruce make some of the comfiest shorts I have ever brought. They are made with Lycra. Super stretchy, comfy and they come in different colors. I paired this with a tank I already had. I did return these because I do have enough shorts for now.

Kut from the kloth- Candace split hem skinny jean $78

So it’s no secret that Kut from the kloth is one of my favorite designer of jeans. I just love their styles and comfort. It’s a bummer that I already have a pair of red jeans otherwise I would of kept them.

My stylist did a great job matching items to my style. If you decide not to keep all the items, you can return them for free with the enclosed envelope that is prepaid. It’s so easy to do or if you decide to keep all the items, you will receive 25% off your total.

Stitch Fix review June 2018

Disclaimer: This post contains affiliate links. If you use my affiliate link, I may receive a small commission.

Hi there,

I can’t believe summer is almost here and the kids are almost done with school! Where did half of this year go already?! Father’s Day is also upon us, think about giving the Dads in you life the gift of Stitch Fix.  Most men hate to go shopping, this would be a great idea for them! I added the links for the gift cards at the end of this review.

Also, there is an amazing summer give away Stitch Fix is offering this month. It’s a dream vacation and a free 10 item fix!! All you have to do is sign up for a fix the month of June. There are giving it to 10 winners!! Here is the link to the contest: Summer giveaway . Good luck!

I’m on my #53 fix. Wow, I have been using Stitch Fix over 4 years! My friend actually told me about them years ago and I have been hooked ever since. When my kids were small, it was hard for me to get out to go shopping. Stitch Fix was exactly what I needed to freshen up my wardrobe. I have accumulated some great pieces over the years. I incorporate them so many different ways into my outfits.

I want to let you know what  Stitch Fix is, if you didn’t know already. She even saw me in my previous posts in a dress I kept and made comments about it. Talk about customizing to each individual.

Listed below is the style card I received for this fix. Now let’s get into what I received.

Skies are blue – Feliciano mixed material keyhole knit top $54

I must say this top is comfy and stylish. I really like how they mixed the two styles of print together. This top could be worn all year with a cardigan or without, it is versatile. You could pair this top with shorts, jeans or even a skirt. Even though it is adorable, sadly I had to send it back. It was a little snug around the top. Good news is that if I want a larger size, I can request it when I check out my order after the three days.

Below you can see the top in better detail. Oops and some wrinkles!

Loveappella – Gwen faux wrap knit maxi skirt $48

This wrap maxi skirt has a pretty print. My stylist Anna sent me something different this time. I don’t usually wear maxi skirts but I thought this was adorable. It has a little boho look to it. I love the fact that Stitch Fix gets me to try things outside of my norm. I paired this skirt with my orange top to pull out the color in the skirt. I did send it back only because I’m not sure how often I would wear it.

Cloth & Stone – Alanis button front top $88

Market & Spruce – Lanie short $54

This next outfit I really liked. I paired these two items together. I needed new shorts so these were perfect. They are made with Lycra and are so comfortable. I just loved the color too! I really could wear a lot of different tops with these shorts. This top is cute but I’m not one for pockets on shirts. I kept the shorts and returned the top.

Loveappella – Earnest knit swing tank $44

The last piece I received is this floral swing tank. The material is very soft and does not cling at all. You could pair this with jeans, skirt but I decided to go with white shorts. I was undecided about this one. Well, I have 3 days to think about it!

My stylist Anna did a great job matching items to my style. If you decide not to keep all the items, you can return them for free with the enclosed envelope that is prepaid. It’s so easy to do or if you decide to keep all the items, you will receive 25% off your total.

Stitch Fix review May 2018

Disclaimer: This post contains affiliate links. If you use my affiliate link, I may receive a small commission.

Hi there,

It’s May and Mother’s Day is upon us. Happy Mother’s Day to you! We also have Memorial Day at the end of the month too. That means summer is coming soon!

This month I did put in a request from my stylist Anna for a romper and spring clothing items, well she did deliver. You shall request and you shall receive!

I received my #52 Stitch Fix box this month. I’ll show you each item and let you know what I thought of them. I’ll also let you know what I decided to keep.

I want to let you know what Stitch Fix is, if you didn’t know already.

She even saw me in my previous posts in a top I kept and made comments about it. Talk about customizing to each individual.

Listed below is the style card I received for this fix. Now let’s get into what I received.

41 Hawthorn – Cristen shirt dress $78

When I first saw this dress I wasn’t sure what to think. I put it on and loved it! It’s something I probably wouldn’t of brought in the store. That’s the beauty of Stitch Fix. You get to try clothing you possibly wouldn’t try at the store. I paired this pretty floral dress with wedges. I decided to keep it and I’m wearing it to a Communion this weekend. It’s a perfect spring dress.

Soaked in luxury- Magalie v-neck pocket knit tee $48

This next item is this v-neck tee. I know why it’s called soaked in luxury, the material is so soft! I wore this top in a casual way with my shorts and sandals. You could also wear it with jeans. I do love the color but honestly I’m not crazy about the pocket. It is a cute top. I decided to send it back. If it came without a pocket, I would of kept it!

Chaser- Darce Raglan knit pullover $58

My third item is this cute graphic sweatshirt. It says Sunday fun day, isn’t that the truth! It’s nice to be off work and home with the family. It’s really soft and comfy. I paired it with a pair of my distressed jeans and kicks. I decided not to keep it because I want more lightweight clothes for spring. It was a tough decision though.

RD Style- Bryanna knit romper $68

I asked my stylist for a romper in this fix. I paired it with a jean jacket and wedges. It has a drawstring waist. I decided not to keep it because I would of preferred a romper with sleeves. I didn’t specify that in my request, it’s my bad! Maybe my next fix, I’ll have one with sleeves.

Collective Concepts- Maire wrap front blouse $54

My last item is this floral wrap blouse. It’s really adorable for spring or summer. I paired this top with my white jeans and my new favorite blush flats. I loved the print but the material wasn’t that soft. I sadly decided to send it back.

My stylist Anna did a great job matching items to my style. I kept 1/5 items.

If you decide not to keep all the items, you can return them for free with the enclosed envelope that is prepaid. It’s so easy to do or if you decide to keep all the items, you will receive 25% off your total.

If you’re looking to give a gift that they would love, Stitch Fix offers gift cards. It’s a great present for Mother’s Day! They are actual cards or it can be emailed to that special someone. Here is the link: Stitch Fix gift card.

Stitch Fix review April 2018

Disclaimer: This post contains affiliate links. If you use my affiliate link, I may receive a small commission.

Hi there,

Happy April! It is spring right?! Well it surely doesn’t feel like it here in the North East. One day it’s nice and 60 degrees, the next day we got 6 inches of snow! You’ll see it in my pictures I took for my latest fix.

I received my 51st box this month! I have been participating with Stitch Fix for over four years. I really have accumulated some great pieces over the years. My stylist Anna sent me another great box. We will get into that shortly. I’ll show you each item and let you know what I thought of them. I’ll also let you know what I decided to keep.

I want to let you know what Stitch Fix is, if you didn’t know already.

Wisp- Tressa ponte dress $74

This floral dress is so pretty and comfortable. I felt like I should be on an island wearing it. It totally got me in the mood for warmer weather. I even dug out my sandals for this picture.

It was a little to snug on me so I decided to send it back. The beauty about Stitch Fix is that if you really like an item you can ask for a larger size. If they have it in stock, they will send it to you.

Market & Spruce – Vassar lace up detail hooded knit top $64

I took this next picture the day after the dress picture. Check out all the snow!

I just love this top and color. I usually don’t like hoodies but I don’t even know it’s there. The lace up sleeves are a cute detail. I paired it with my pearl jeans from my Fix last month and kicks for a casual look. You could also pair it with leggings.

You guessed right, I kept this top! How could I not? It really is comfy.

MPG – Berkeley performance legging $54

This next look is athletic wear. These leggings are stretchy and form fitting. I do like the capri style. They have a unique design on them and are really lightweight. I paired it with my own top. I just love the saying!

I decided not to keep the leggings since I already have a few pairs. If I didn’t have a few, I would of totally kept them.

41 Hawthorn – Liano mixed material top $54

Cosmic blue love – Adrianne boyfriend jean $88

I combined the top and jeans for this outfit. This pretty floral top has a cut out in the front and is a tank. It great to wear by itself or with a cardigan. These jeans are a great staple for spring and summer.

I added my pink cardigan from my Fix from February. It pulled out the color from the flowers. You could also wear this top with jeans or dress it up with pants. Unfortunately I did not keep this outfit. I have white jeans and the top was pretty but I have a similar one.

This month I decided to try the extras Stitch Fix offers. It could be camis, shape wear, socks, tights, intimates, etc… I kept 2 of these items as well! You can add them on before you get your next box.

They are actual cards or it can be emailed to that special someone. Here is the link: Stitch Fix gift card.

Stitch Fix review March 2018

Disclaimer: This post contains affiliate links. If you use my affiliate link, I may receive a small commission.

Hi there,

It’s March already but we are still getting snow here in New Jersey! Where is the warmer weather, the crocuses, green grass, open windows, wearing lighter clothes and jackets?! I know it’s coming but not soon enough.

Well my March fix is starting to get me ready for spring. I have the itch and it better come soon.

This month Stitch Fix started something new called extras. What it means is that you can add these items below to your Fix in addition to the five items you already received. I added a few items to my next fix so I will update you next month on what I thought about it.

I received my 50th box this month!

Madison Lily- Cora back detail pullover $38

This red top has an adorable back criss cross detail. The material is soft and comfy. I paired this top with my jeggings and booties. This top would look great with white jeans as well. I decided not to keep it because my hair is longer in the back and you won’t see the detail much. It’s really cute though!

Adelyn Rae – Makaila cold shoulder blouse $58

I have to honest, when I first looked at this blouse out of the box I wasn’t crazy about it. Then when I put it on and took a picture I really liked it! That’s why you have to try all the items on. It may not be your style but once you try it, you could like it.

I decided not to keep it but I may ask for my stylist to send it next month. I checked out before I tried it on. What a bummer!

Chaser- Myrtie open sleeve detail pullover $58

Next up is this open sleeve pullover top. This top is really soft and lightweight. I have one similar in pink otherwise I would of kept it. I really like the olive color and design. I went for a casual look with my distressed jeans and kicks. You could totally dress up this top too!

Good Hyouman- Ravi graphic detail legging $79

These leggings are stretchy, comfy and stylish! Whether your going out and about, going to the gym or hanging home these are perfect for that. I decided not to keep them because I have a few pairs of leggings.

Driftwood- Kacey pearl embellishment scissor cut hem skinny jean $114

I have been wanting to get a pair of these jeans but never found the right fit until now. I really love the pearl detail and the skinny fit. I paired the jeans with my lace top, cardigan and booties. You can dress these jeans up or down.

My stylist Anna did a great job matching items to my style. I kept 1/5 but I may ask for the cold shoulder top next time.

If you decide not to keep all the items, you can return them for free with the enclosed envelope that is prepaid. It’s so easy to do or if you decide to keep all the items, you will receive 25% off your total.

Stitch Fix review February 2018

Hi there,

I can’t believe it’s February already! It’s the month to celebrate the ones you love. I do try to show them all year-long as well. It’s fun to give my Husband and the kids cute presents and cards. I also enjoy decorating for the holiday and the color palette!

I received my #49th box for this month! My stylist Anna sent me some great pieces. I’ll show you each item and let you know what I thought of them. I’ll also let you know what I decided to keep.

For those who do not know what Stitch Fix is, it is a monthly subscription mail order for clothes, shoes, jewelry and accessories.

Andrew Marc performance- Quarry cut out detail knit top $44

Warp & Weft- Jaicee distressed frayed hem skinny jeans $98

This first outfit I paired the two items I received in this box. This top is so comfy and lightweight. It has a cutout by the neckline. You can see it in the next picture. The jeans are really soft, stretchy and stylish too. I added a pop of color with my burgundy booties.

I decided to keep the Love top by Andrew Marc. It so festive for Valentine’s Day and all year-long.

I returned the jeans. I have a similar pair but these are really cute. I liked the cut outs and frayed hem.

It was lightly snowing when I took this shot! I tried not to look cold! 🤣

Here I changed it up with red pants and slip on sneakers for a more casual look.

Market & Spruce- Camren bow-back knit top $54

I paired this polka dot top with a pair of black straight leg pants I received on a previous fix and riding boots. On the back of this top is a bow. You could dress this top up or down. I added my pink cross body bag and pink tassel earrings.

I did return it because I have a blue top with polka dots. It is comfy and I do like the 3/4 sleeves.

Good Hyouman- Brooke printed ruched detail legging $68

These leggings are great for lounging around or running out and about. The ruched part at the ankle are stylish. I paired these leggings with my top. I am a Jersey girl through and through! I added my blinged slip on sneakers for a dressier touch. You could wear these to work out too!

I may return them because they are slightly to short for me. I had to keep pulling them down. I am about 5’8. I do have the option to order a larger size from Stitch Fix. That’s a great perk!

I couldn’t believe it was almost 50 degrees today! It was warm enough to take this picture without freezing!

Fate- Spears side ruffle pullover sweater $54

This last piece I received is so cute on! I’m all about the ruffles. This top is adorable! I kept this look casual but you could dress this up with dressy pants or a skirt and some heels.

I wish I didn’t own one similar otherwise I would have kept it!

My stylist Anna did a great job matching items to my style. I kept 1/5 but I may get a larger size leggings for the length.

If you decide not to keep all the items, you can return them for free with the enclosed envelope that is prepaid. It’s so easy to do or if you decide to keep all the items, you will receive 25% off your total.
